Says Rajesh – “I have very fond memories of AFBBS and stayed in touch with Mrs Baxi, Mrs Samyal, Mrs Puri (my class teacher in Grade 5). My sister Rama Narasimhan (her class mates included Nupur Manchanda, Jayanta Sen, Anu Kuttoor) was also in the school though 2 years my senior Samba,, Sumeet, Abir Maru, Vishaka, Helen, Tilak Srinivasan, Kranti Prabhu (understand she changed her name later), Rajiv Nirula, Abhay Raghubir, were all my class mates. Mohit Manchanda, Samba and Shankar were my neighbour’s in Bharathi Nagar as were Atul and Ashim Markande, Achal Shah). I was privileged to feature on AFBBS “Roll of Honour” being the “Best Student of the year in 1975” (Grade 1-5) and winning the Delhi State Scholarship in 1975-76 along with Mahadevan and Supriya. Stayed in touch with Mrs Baxi thanks to Swimming (my sis and I were international/national swimmers and Waterpolo players and I was in the reserves for the Asian games in 1982, 1986 and Asian Swimming championships in Seoul 1984. Rama was a national champion who went on to represent India in SAF games in 1987 and also World Cup Waterpolo for Women in France in 1985 besides other tournaments. Unfortunately don’t have any photos of the BBAFS days with me…will continue to check and explore. Unable to locate a photo featuring my name on the Roll of Honor that Samba sent me in 2007 when he was in school for the 25th anniversary reunion. “
Kudos and Best Wishes !
