Sangeeta Sadarangani (Sangeeta Mohan Rao, Batch of 1982), is the Founder & CEO of Crossing Travel, a Bespoke Luxury Digital Travel Company based out of London.
This month (Feb 2020), Forbes ranked her in the Global List of 13 women, who will shape the “Global Travel Industry”. She has been featured in USA Today / Forbes / Conde Nest Traveller / Washington Post / Meetings Today to name a few. Winner of many Global
Awards, she is a Thought Leader in the Global Travel Industry.

Her former roles include “Beauty Editor of Elle Magazine” / “CEO of Onyx BeautyWorld” / “ Founder & CEO – Style Dabba Magazine and Style Dabba Hotel Company”. She founded a cosmetics company in 2005 and successfully sold it in 2009. It was the first entrepreneur owned and run cosmetics firm in India with products manufactured in USA/Canada. She was a consultant for Unilever for its Lakme brand of salons and was also the first franchise for them eventually selling the business before moving.
Post AFBBS, she did her MA in Economics from St Xaviers College and Business Enterpreunership from Dubai University. AFBBS gave her an enormous sense of place having arrived there in 9th grade. She was Vice Captain and then Captain of Indraprastha Sadan and also Editor of the “Damini”. Says Sangeeta, “I made my closest life long friends at BBAFS, and they remain my buoy even today.”
She lives between London and Hong Kong where her husband of 30 years Sanjay is currently based. She spends her time travelling the globe to meet clients, experience luxury hotels and meeting trade partners. Every week finds her in a different country at a different luxury hotel. She has 2 sons working in New York and Seattle
